The festival features 7 Grade One Races and a total of 1.5 Million Prize Money. The Festival is taking place at the Smoke Alley Theatre, where from 14th of February to 3rd of March you will get the chance to take part in a variety of performances including Music, Dance, Comedy, Theater and Spoken Word. The programme is always fresh, bold, funny and exciting. The festival provides a risk free environment for artists to meet, collaborate and stage bold new ideas in front of a live audience, who in turn play advocate and share their opinions on what they’ve just seen. Cheap tickets draw an audience of all ages.
Another opportunity to immerse yourself in the audiovisual arts will be offered by ADIFF, Audi Dublin International Film Festival, taking place from 22nd of February to 4th of March 2018. The festival not only offers the opportunity to see the best of Irish and International cinema, but also to take part in trademark events in the screenwriting industry, public discussions, exhibitions, ADIFF Inspirations, Fantastic Flix, international juries and more. Special guest to this years edition is Paul Schrader, acclaimed US Screenwriter and director with a rich CV including co-screenwriting for Martin Scorsese, and movies like Taxi Driver (1976), Raging Bull (1980), The Last Temptation of Christ (1988), and Bringing Out the Dead (1999).
